Turning 10

You know your getting old when one of your kids turns 10

13 Years

It was thirteen years ago that we were married.

We said through thick and thin, sickness and health, richer or poorer.

Well I've gotten thicker and we've certainly had sickness,

we've never been richer but also never been poorer,

through all the ups and downs we've stood together.

From kids to school, work to home, we've managed to stay together.

So here's to you, through kids in their teens, to college and marriage,

whatever may come we'll be able to handle.

We had new Family Pictures taken and since I couldn't think of anything

else to post I thought I would do these.

After looking at Family pictures I have decided come to 2 conclusions. My kids are photogenic, and I should never do profile pictures with out a wide angle lens.

Cassidy turned 3 on the 28th of February

Kitchen Complete

Our kitchen is finally complete. I will not go into the details of how long it took. But I will say that we think it looks great and couldn't have asked for a nicer kitchen.

You can see by the color it is a Dark Cherry color.

Complete with Crown molding.

And a china display cabinet with frosted doors.

A New Addition

After the disastrous attempt at having a puppy we decided

that if we got a dog again it would be older and house trained.

The result is our new 3 year old beagle Keely.

Keely is not only house trained but great with the kids,

Another 2 bite the dust

We managed to complete another 2 bedrooms in the basement.

This puts all of the girls downstairs.

Landscaping

Lowe's marked their plants down to 75% off recently so Elann and I decided that this would be a good time to get the rest of the landscaping done.

Our home teacher came by and helped us move the rocks around

We ended with a couple of Lilies, mini roses, and a plant that I don't remember the name of.

Here we go again

Well the Van turned out to be a completely drained battery. Thank goodness for that. I had an interesting phone call when I was at work yesterday. Turns out that Cassie decided she wants to be a big girl and use the toilet. So the task has begun. We have begun potty training for the last time. Something I'm sure I won't miss when it is over. I dread the fact that it has begun because that means I am getting really old, yet I am excited to get it over with. Wish us luck.

Van Woes

Have you ever noticed that when you least expect it or need it that something always happens with your car. Yesterday I had the day off and we all went to the store to finish up some grocery shopping. Everything went great we bought what we needed and took it home. Later in the day I was cleaning the garage and was putting things in the Van to take to DI. While making dinner I realized I had forgotten something at the store and asked Elann to run down and get it. She came back in and informed me that the Van wouldn't start. So we had a neighbor come over and help me check a couple of things. He wasn't much better at cars than me and I felt like we looked like two monkey's in a chemistry lab. After staring at the van for a while like we knew what we were doing. We decided that it was the starter and that it needed to be taken in unfortunately it was 8:30 and no one was open. So I called Elann's brother and he came up in the morning and we towed it down to the auto shop to have it checked. Now we get to wait and hopefully find out what is wrong with the Van soon.
