Zoo 6 Last one

I wanted to get a picture of the kids on the rain forest bridge, mostly because I have a picture of myself on this bridge. I had a blue mickey Mouse coat. I love Ariana's attitude hip move that she shows in the picture and Ben with his hat.

Zoo 5

Yes even Elann and I tried to measure up.

And Grandma Romney really got into it
The last thing we did at the Zoo was to ride the train I think the kids enjoyed this the most as the all seem to love trains.

Zoo 4

How do you measure up?

Zoo 3

This is called a Red Panda. No it's not dead, apparently that is how it sleeps Extremely relaxed
Penguins I thought it would be colder
Ariana was afraid of the Gorilla and wouldn't let us take a picture unless
Grandma Romney held her.

Cenna is the most photogenic child I have she loves to have her picture taken.

When she saw this snow leopard she had to have a picture by it.

Another picture of Cenna

Zoo 2

Elephants are cool
OUCH!!
Our timing was really of saturday at the Zoo for some reason almost every animal we saw started peeing. It was neat seeing the animals but I didn't want to see that from everyone of them

This is the giant Tortise the pictures don't do it justice the thing was huge.

Zoo 1

You guessed it we had a family day at the Zoo
They had a Sanpete staple, The Turkey
Monkeys of course
This monkey was sleeping when we arrived but as we were leaving we saw them out in their yard are playing. if you look you can see the baby monkey.
This was Hoogle Zoo's White Alligator

Legend of the Seeker

One of my favorite books The wizard's first rule is being made into a new TV series. The author Terry Goodkind has signed on as a producer and has said it will relate to the books but not follow them exactly. Either way I think it looks like an excellent series. The producers of Hercules and Zena are also producers for the show. To see a trailer and even find out what time it will air in your area go to.

for the Utah Area it will air on November 1st at 7:00 on channel CW30

Fun with Cassidy

Here is a video of Cassie that we took about a week ago. She does this all time, she does it when she is keeping herself entertained. As you can tell by the hair she had just woken up from a nap.

Wonders of Chris

I wanted to post quickly and let everyone know how impressed I was with Chris. Chris and I have spent a couple of days refinishing my In laws Counter tops and I was very impressed by the professionalism that Chris presented he also had the patience to show me what he was doing so that I could assist. I failed to get pictures of the counters afterward and sorry but a description just wouldn't do it justice. The looked like new counter tops and I received compliments from everyone that saw the counter tops afterward.

9th

Well Alex is now 9. It doesn't seem very long ago that you all attended her Baptism. She's growing faster than I would like and getting into trend more than I would like. She's a big Hannah Montana Fan and a Jonas Brothers Fan (Both bands on Disney channel) she is also enjoys High school Musical. She still loves to read and is very fashion oriented. Unlike her dad who wears whatever he wants. She is going into fourth grade and has the teacher that she wanted (a Mr. Hunter).

Haircut

Cenna decided that she needed a haircut and after a failed attempt at cutting it herself she had mom cut it here is the before and after pictures.

Before

Note the bangs that she cut herself

After

Cabela's

We went on a family Field trip with Grandma and Grandpa Barlow to Cabela's to see the animals and the large aquarium that they had. The kids enjoyed the aquarium and the general store the most. They still talk about the fish when we let them. Here is some of the Fish that we saw.

Bubble time

The kids wanted to do bubbles and I thought it would be fun to do big bubbles so I made a large hoop from a coat hanger and we did bubbles.

Laughing

We were watching a movie and Elann was trying to keep Cassidy quiet when this started to happen.

Ariana decided that the same thing might work with her Elmo doll

Interesting Name

I found this a little odd. While driving back from our vacation we passed a truck carrying Portapotty's and what was the company name. Honey Bucket. I was struck with laughter and amazement thinking it was a mistake I checked online for them and what did I find.
a web site for Honey Bucket portable sanitation.

Vacation Fun 2

As you can see Ben loved the Zip Line

Alex enjoyed herself

Ben got stuck at the beginning of his second run

Cenna enjoyed it so much she was laughing at the end

Ariana went about 3 feet with me holding her the whole way.

Cassie sat in it long enough for this picture

Vacation Fun 1

Vacation time has come and gone but it's always fun to share the adventures.
We recently went on vacation to Christmas meadows Northern Utah next to the border of Utah and Wyoming. We spent a full week up there relaxing, playing, just having some fun. Not all of it was fun there was a little work involved as well.
Behold the mighty Zip Line Tower

It stands ten feet high in the air has stairs and a safety railing, and only took 2 days to build. (Cementing the posts took a day so they could dry.)the zip line cable was closer to 18 feet in the air. It ended up being a big hit for the Romney family reunion that occurred the last 2 days we were there.

Sany Elementary Carnival

The Sany Elementary had their annual Carnival yesterday. At the carnival each grade has to perform a dance that they have worked on for the last week. We have gone since alex was in kindergarten and recorded them each time. I thought it would be fun to show this years.

Alex did the Macerena

Ben did the chicken dance

Ariana and Cenna decided they wanted to dance as well so they made up their own. It kind of resembles crack the whip to me.

Tag I'm it

Tag I'm it!
I've been tagged...Here are the rules:

1. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
2. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
3. At the end, the player tags 5 others and posts their names. Then goes to their blog and posts them a comment to let them know they've been tagged and asks them to read your blog to find out the details.

Let’s Begin:

1. What was I doing 10 years ago: Let's see 10 years ago, I would have been almost 21 (2 days from now), I was planning my wedding to David, (next month will be 10 years) I was still at Snow College. I think that is about it.

2. Five things on my to-do list: 1. keep writing in my kids journals, (I am a little behind) 2. catch up on laundry 3. continue to type for my Dad 4. finish writing up my life history and David's. 5. continue to keep the house clean while taking care of 5 kids today. (it's a holiday today)

3. If I were a billionaire I would: probably get a house first, pay our for our bills, (so we don't have to worry about them) put money away for my kids college funds/missionary funds/savings. I would also like to give some of it away to different charities that really need the help. Give some to our families. Then put the rest of it into savings and let it continue to grow.

4. Bad habits: When I am nervous or if I have a lot on my mind, I bite my nails and it drives me crazy.

5. The last one is 5 places that I have lived. I have lived in Provo Utah, Dominican Republic for 3 years, Ephraim Utah, Draper Utah, and most current Sandy Utah.
