Promotion

I have been promoted finally. I am officially the department manager over Flooring, Appliances,and Kitchen Cabinets. I know the name tag doesn't mention Kitchen Cabinets. This position comes with monthly bonus possibilities and a lovely $1.50 raise. I can also now get into the next training class to become a Zone Manager (Salary Position).

Girls Night

Elann and the girls decided to have a girls night. So Ben went to a friends house for a sleep over and Dad went to work for the night. They watched movies while eating junk food and painted fingernails and toenails.

Morning Disney

The younger girls have a habit of getting up at 7:00 in the morning about when we have to get up to get Alex and Ben off to school. We found that the Disney channel is the perfect sitter while we get Alex and Ben off.

We decided that now that Cassidy is here

we should take a new family photo, so here are 2 of the ones we took.

The only issue with this pic is Alex. She has this desire to make funny faces for every picture it reminds me of those Calvin and Hobbes cartoons.

Cassidy Ann

Yes she is finally here Cassidy Ann Barlow was born at 6:29pm on Feb. 29, 2008 (Leap Year)

She was 6lbs 11.2oz, 18.5 inches long, and has a full head of dark hair.

I will post again tomorrow with better pictures. Elann is doing well also.

After much consideration I have started a blog with basic computer Tips and Tricks. I will have a poll with what people would like to know in a future post. True Barlow

Alex has begun to follow in her grandmothers footsteps. Both grandmas are avid readers and Alex loves to read to the point I have to take her book away so she does her math homework first. She and I have started the Harry Potters together I listen and she reads. She is really enjoying it. I am running out of books for her age so suggestions are welcome of what she may enjoy.

Nap Time Pictures

Ariana and Cenna both feel that they no longer need a nap so we get lots of screaming and fighting when ever it's nap time. This past week hasn't been as bad as they seem to be getting tired even faster then normal. I'm almost positive it isn't that I'm making them wake up earlier. But now I don't even have to say nap time they just sort of crash.

New Car

The (David) Barlow's have joined the bandwagon and bought a Mini Van. A very nice model with roomie interior. The best part is that it's seats 7 which is soon to be our family size. Yes Mom that means we will be visiting more often. Now all we need is for Ryan and Jen to buy one and we can have Mini Van Races, or conventions. I do realize that I posted three times today but as you can see I haven't had a lot of time to post.
